Puppy doesn't want to go for a walk
My 14 week staffie hates leaving the house.we offer her treats take her favourite toy,but she is still reluctant!
We have been so looking forward to having nice dog walks. But can't hardly get her out the drive. We have previously owned a staffie but never had this problem.HELP!

Re: Puppy doesn't want to go for a walk
Hi Sarah. Have you tried taking her out in a car to get to the park or where you want to go?

Hi, I've moved your topic to training and behaviour where you may get more responses. Here are a few links that might help:

Ours was like this as well. We just tried going a little further everyday and would sometimes just stay outside to help her get some confidence

Lula did these to start with and we used to treats and even carried her out the house. It just takes a little time and effort and letting them no you wont give up

Re: Puppy doesn't want to go for a walk
When peppa was a baby she didn't want to go out at all sometimes we had to carry her but unless it was really raining she always enjoyed it when out . I think they go through funny stages just keep taking her give her treats and praises and don't make big deal of it I'm sure shell be fine.

Re: Puppy doesn't want to go for a walk
Ah this is not so unusual. My Flo at 8 has her moments when she doesn't want to go for a walk but once there she doesn't want to go home. She will sit and look at he back of the car to go to the big park rather than walk round the corner to the little park
Sometimes you just need to mix it up a little, cross the road somewhere different or walk the other way to the park. I do believe that they get bored with the same walks so just try different things
