We were out walking and the dog was back again, tried to jump on Eli again which eas excatly what I didnt want, and out of no-where loki ran in front of the mastiff cut him off and came and sat in front of eli on the bench, and put his paws over Elis legs, the mastiff left soon after. He really just reaffirmed to me that I will never get another breed ever. Hes wonderful

Well I walked up after and I explained how nervous its not only making me, but also how now Eli is frightened of big dogs now and its also making loki go into protective mode, and that if they cant control it and knows she chases kids then im afraid she stays on a lead. But they didnt seem to want to know, if it happens again I dunno what to do, cause I feel for the poor dog cause they obviously havebt bothered with training, but also if a kiddy got really hurt and I did nothing, id never forgive myself

No they never want to know! Even if not aggressive a child can hurt if knocked flying by such a huge dog, not to mention the fear its giving them. Loki is getting protective but don't want their dog making yours aggressive to approaching dogs either.

May be too late now if they have faded, but wouldn't hurt to take pics of the marks

It only happened two days ago, so they are still there! I dont know what to do about it, and I would be mortified if my dog did that but if have the sense to put him on a lead,
