Hubby phoned Virgin Media earlier as they wanted to raise their bill another £3.00 per month, we currently pay £36.80 per month for just broadband and land line phone rental.

After hubby phoned them we now will be paying £25.49 per month, reduction in bill due to loyalty bonus, very kind of them to let us know about it.

I have recently had a reduction on our bt package, least they could do really after not having anything for 5 days!   

Good news   yeah they don't tell mention it till you phone, plusnet done same with me when i called to say i was leaving.

with these compeny you have to search, research on other compeny say i pay this (before the rise dont say how much they asking you to pay more) what can you do for me to join your compeny and the best deal you get then you go back and say sky/bt is offered me for the same package what are you going to do to keep me with you?

always call the cancellation team with any company and tell them what you have found elswhere. its just amazing what they can do lol
