I'm a Staffy Virgin

Hello all

Me and my missus have just bought our first Staffy and will pick him up on the 30th April when he's 8 weeks old, just wondering if anyone had any advice with regards to injections and everything else you need to do? we were going to take him straight to the Vets and get him checked over. Also any tips on training as weve both booked the week off with him.

We have a 3 year old son who cant wait to meet the new addition,

awww i bet you can not wait! and your son will love having a new little friend just one small tip....for the word go you will have to show you little one how to play with the puppy and visa versa, we have a 4 year old and its one of the things we had to do straigh away

I was a staffy virgin too and can't imagine life without the two lovebugs. I do remember (sort of) life with more space in the bed, on the couch, in the car. But I'm fitter (they make great personal trainers), more sociable and a lot more calmer. I've also learnt if you want anything from a staffy training-wise that bribery is the way to go!
