Rocky has a Muddy Paws coat for the winter when it's windy/cold like the one in the link below but red coloured:

Moo really feels the cold, and also with her arthritis I need to keep her warm

Re: coats
if it's for the arthritis then fair enough but with the greatest of respect when is it ever cold enough here to warrant an extra layer on a natural fur coat? it's england not alaska!

Re: coats
tessa comes walking with me in the brecon beacons in the middle of winter and i am sure that if i put a coat on her she would just refuse to go.
to be honest i think it's more me having an issue with people putting clothes on their pets. i have a tennant,a young blonde girl very dizzy, who has a little fluffy thing that she insists on putting in a dress when she takes it out. just very bizzare.

Re: coats
Yeah, i dont see the point unless its like 8'C or below, and even then i think its better to just run and warm up in the park
Chaos looooooooves running, every chance he gets he will run and run and run so i dont think I need a coat lol

Re: coats
Loki will still be quite young when a coat is needed and he shakes when it's out and raining...so I thought I would get one for extra measure...I can understand your point of clothes....I live in Devon and although everyone says it's really sunny...it really isn't ahah!!

Re: coats
I bought Stella's first coat last winter. She has very thick fur and I did'nt think she needed one until then as she is getting old. Just like an old person they need an extra layer in the winter

Re: coats
Lula had one and it come in really handy as she refused to go out if it was cold and she was only tiny. The one we had was fleeced and water proof, she now to big for it. I will be looking at one for her for the colder weather and the rain

Re: coats
We didn't use a coat for Floyd until his last winter. He had arthritis and lumbo sacral stenosis (degeneratimg spine) and we only used the coat when he went for a walk, rather than a run.
its still up for debate whether this was for his benefit or our piece of mind!! Either way, he wasn't a fan!
