First staffy

Just thought I'd introduce myself. I'm Nia. I have brought home a little boy called Casper this week. He's 3 months old and my first staffy.

Where did you find Casper, and how is he settling in?

I have to say I'm guilty of getting him from someone who could not be classed as a 'proper' breeder. Some guy with two dogs, inevitable happened and he had decided to keep Casper but then decided he couldn't cope as having three was doing his head in (not my words). So along came me and bought him from him. I know it's not recommended but I lost my rottie in April and have been lost without a dog in the house. So I guess it's worked out for both of us as he started off his life living under the stairs.
He seems to be settling in great. Him and the children adore each other and he is such a gentle soul who seems eager to please. When he's out of his cage (vets orders, post elsewhere) he doesn't leave our sides. I think I've got a good one here

I really like his face.

I'm going to class this as a semi-rescue, seeing as he was already three months old...

I'm thinking he will be the one doing the rescuing. As well as helping me after losing my rottie (who was my baby), he is having a positive effect on two of my children. one has aspergers and the other has ODD, so far both are calmer and spending a lot of time with Casper. I think he really is just what my family needs. He's brought out the gentler side in both of them so far.

They're not called 'The Nanny Dog' for nothing you know!   

id like some information on staffies i no a lot about them always had them since i was young .. i wanted to no when they stop growing because im getting diffrent views obviously ive seen my staffs mam and dad because i got him of somebody i new..any anwsers anyone
