Most likely excitment and playfullness, how old is she? my eldest always used to bite at the vacuum when he was young but grew out of it.

Re: Does your staffie attack the mower
ahh past the puppy stage then but still well able to act like a big kid. sometimes they just find noisy things very very exciting, just like if you make alot of fuss and high pitched noises yourself. she may have alot of pent up energy as well, what sort of exercise is she getting?

Re: Does your staffie attack the mower
My mums dogs bark and run in circles around the mower, I don't like them to cut the grass when Daisy's there because of this, I don't want her to start doing it! It started from one dog they had doing it years ago and they then all pass it on to each other!

Re: Does your staffie attack the mower
She was starting to get interested in it so i tie her to her stake thing so she can watch. She loves the carpet sweeper and brush though, always wants to 'play' with them when i'm tidying

Re: Does your staffie attack the mower
Meg absolutely detests the vacuum cleaner and would run through a wall to get away from it. She follows the lawnmower with great suspicion. She also doesn't like shovels, brushes and rakes for some reason too.

Re: Does your staffie attack the mower
Alfie is the same, we have to keep him in while the mower is out. He lunges at the hoover too, but manage to get him on his bed or he takes himself outside now.

Re: Does your staffie attack the mower
No Rocky has never attacked the lawn mower as we don't have one or a need for one. We have no grass in the garden, it's just all paved

Darcy is petrified of the Hoover and isn't really friends with the mower either!

Re: Does your staffie attack the mower
Yesterday we learned that Karma and loud noises (especially mowers) aren't friends, if she's scared, she removes herself from the situation! Poor thing found a quieter area in the cement area of the yard to wait out the fiancé mowing!

Re: Does your staffie attack the mower
Son was mowing a few days back and Lula was chasing it and barking he put her in the house. Lula does not seem to like the hoover and will stay out of its way she used to attack the mop all the time but recently ignored it completely
