Yeah Rabbit is fair game but I never heard they ate snails
Few years ago my Aunt and Uncle were on a TV show about war time food.. Wish I could remember what it was called now.

Snails nom nom nom tbh it just depends on the marinade when I had them in France they were just like garlic mushrooms, the ones I had when I lived in jersey were in a chilli sauce and definitely moreish
