it makes me so mad, paying dividends to shareholders and we have to pay for that, they should never have been priviatised same with water and electric, these are essential to live

i work for an investment company who deal in stocks and shares and the dividends they are paying to rich people who can afford to buy shares is terrible people should boycott buying these shares

about 20 years ago i used to pay about 25.00 per month now i pay 260,00 per month for gas and electicity

if they not make a huge amount of profit someone is nicking billions off them!
or if they being greedy they will end up losing out on money becasue there going be hell of people cutting back on gas & electric so at the end of the day there profits are going drop.

i know i feel like that at the moment i look on the news and it seem that everyone else are getting back to normal and we still struggling and we have tories always blaming labour it's soo depressing at times IMO tories should be getting us back on our feet and stop blaming it on the last goverment it get me well mad!!

Don't know if this will make any of you feel better. The Japanese government is having to subsidize the compensation payments for people affected by the earthquake and nuclear power plant by raising the price of electricity as well as a 3% hike in the sales tax. We barely even use the airconditioner anymore.

Im gonna get some if theres no smoke then theres no polution. You get one steve theyre not that expensive about £400 for a really good one so it will pay for itself in the first year and if your dad can get wood !!!!

my mum and dad was really poor, my mum had dispression & my dad was window cleanr making 89p a house and in winter didn't make lot,
this what my mum said, when i was first born they didn't have heating in every room the living/front room was room that had heating, i was born in december so my dad used to sleep in the living with me to keep me warn at night.

I know of loads of families that when its cold they bring the beds down and live in the one room to save money. Its a shame dont know how the old people are going to manage the future is so bleak

i dont know how people who are retired are goign to cope!
a couple of years back u could get 4 litres of milks for like £1.50 now it over £3 same with bread, everytthing is going up far to fast

know were your coming from there steve when i was growing up in the north east it was around the time were everyone got shafted (mines and shipyards)so money was more than tight.
i can see the country going the same way again
