will im in training vests help ?
hi all as we are going on daily walks now Tia is all vaccinated ( which by the way we are both enjoying ) I am having a lot of people just putting out their hands to touch her as they/we pass by .. great they think she lovely looking enough to do that but its bloody annoying that they just do it without asking me or seeing if Tia has seen them approaching, what with her taking in all the traffic , noise etc in her new outside world . so I though maybe a vest or something to say im in training may help ..what do you all think ? have any of you tired this approach to deal with unwanted touching ? and do any of you know of a good shop / web page to buy them ..many thanks

Re: will im in training vests help ?
Yup I use one with my Flo. As she's deaf and I would bellow at her across whatever park we were in, people used to clip their dogs on to leads as soon as they saw her thinking she was DA and not realising that she wasn't disobedient.. Just Deaf !
I will try and find the link to the store and post it here tomorrow for you. They will print whatever you want I think and could well be useful for you.
Here's Flo's vest...

I know the shop is a distance from you Chell, however, they do have an online store too. Here is the link I suggested yesterday :-

Give it a year, Chell, they'll be hiding in bushes when they see you coming like they do with me when I'm out and about with Meg The last thing they'll want to do is touch your dog because they'll realize it's a man eating Staffy
Good idea about the jacket!
