My staffy is 6 months and still does the nipping what can I do do stop him

Have you tried ignoring, yelping, replacing your arm/leg with a toy ?
Whichever method looks to be working needs to be done by all of the family so that the same message is given each time.

As well as ignoring him (folding arms, turning away when he does it, no eye contact), I'd also suggest to ensure in general that he gets plenty of exercise. This will make him deep-down happy - and also tired (in a good way). A pup has a lot of energy to burn. He may be a bit nippy for a few months yet, but it will definitely be worth it to help him through this temporary phase.
