trapped nerve??
can dogs have a trapped nerve?sash seems to be having a bit of discomfort in one of her back legs, she wont jump up on the sofa or the bed and looks like her legs a bit stiff when she walking, when you look at it its twitching a bit at the top sort of by her hip, sorry if i'm not describing it well, not sure if its a bit of arthritis setting in or she may of trapped a nerve, mike took her for a walk this afternoon and said she was fine, running around but did walk slowly on the way home, she really dont look happy think i'll rest her tomorrow and see how she is.

Re: trapped nerve??
Sounds similar to what Ledger had a few weeks back I was convinced it was a trapped nerve (vet had other ideas about a digestive problem and wouldn't check him properly but that's a different story) he seemed to be doing a good job of restricting what he did but still wanted to chase his ball
I have a friend who does a form of osteopathy for dogs and turns out my flyball instructor takes all her dogs there for regular treatment

Re: trapped nerve??
Yes, dogs can get a trapped nerve just as we can, do you have an appointment to see the vet ?
