Strange Habits

For example, after every walk my Flo will come into the house and go straight to her bed and check that nobody has been in it with copious amounts of sniffing.

Does anybody else's fur kid do anything like this ?

Darcy will sleep on the bed with anyone, but if Molly's home alone, Darcy lays on the middle landing facing the front door watching both up and down stairs. Like she's making sure Molly is safe

My two are just strange    Like Flo when we've been out Roxy comes home and has to sniff all over the garden to make sure no cats have been by. The minute Vinny gets out of bed in the morning he has to have a good scratch.

If I'm sitting on the sofa working they race to see who will get to sit next to mum and whoever loses out pushes up in the middle anyway (and no, the sofa's not big enough for all three of us!).

Roxy likes to "talk" to her dad when he gets in every evening and Vin likes to sit straight up on the sofa to watch telly or get a tummy scratch (the other day he climbed up behind me and literally "patted" me on the shoulder to turn around and tickle him   )

When i open the backyard gates to drive my car/bike into the carport Samba does't even think off leaving the yard, the gates can be open for 5mins or so & he has no interest what so ever, BUT when iam putting the rubbish bins out he cant wait & pushes his way out to see whats on the other side.

As soon as you say walkies to Axl and put his lead on he has walk up to the front door so his nose is touching it, then have a good old shake before he goes out, most of the time he ends up smacking his head on the wall mid-shake   

He likes to talk to us with his bone in his mouth too

When we come home Alfie runs up to us carrying a shoe or slipper in his excitement then drops it somewhere

Amongst Rolo's silly ways, is his compulsion to tidy up shoes... If you leave your shoes in the hallway or on the stairs... soon as you turn your back, Rolo picks them up and delivers them into his bed. He will then run back and fetch the second one, he has to have the pair. He then sits there and just stares at them does not chew or sniff... just watches them till he gets bored and wanders off... lol

Daisy loves to lick, she will pull your sock down and push your trouser leg up so she can get to the skin

  ,sash does the same!i thought it has a girly thing where shoes were concerned but if Alfie does it ,it makes her normal,there are shoes scattered all round the house where she's just left them there

   Some funny habits here.
We always know when Marquez has to do a #2 as he starts running around like a loon and barking like crazy (the barking is what tells us he has to go and lets us know its different from his usual loony laps) until we let him outside, then he go into his either of his 2 favourite corners and start scratching at the wall like he's digging for gold for about 30 secs before he does more laps and then settles to do his #2    Strange thing about this though is he doesn't do this ritual if he has to go during his walk.
