Nearly 2 weeks without daddy

and we doing fine, well Debo is. We were worried a lot how Debo will react when his daddy's gone. But he's doing fine. He was sitting by my OH when he was packing his bags, really upset. After I droped my OH to the airport, came home, Debo said hello to me, then looked at the front door " What about daddy ?". I took him mind of it by playing with him. He was fine for the rest of the day. He even comes to bed with me at night where before he waited for daddy to comes home. Like he knows that packing bags means going away for a while. The weekend was a bit harder for him, he was looking for my OH, I found him laying in our bedroom where my OH always kept him bag. It;s much better now and I need to say we bondig more now. I forgot how much I like training DEbo, now I can do and it's great. We decided that my OH won't come to visit, it would be to much for us. Will see him in August. Just to want to share how we doing.  

Glad to hear that things are going so well, you must feel very relieved.

Appreciate it must be difficult for you both, but you have each other
and its a good opportunity to bond.

Its strange how they know that suitcases/bags means they are going
to be left for a while.  

Its almost June now, and August will soon be here  

I know, they are very clever creatures. I hope it will go fast now.

Sounds like your both doing really well, although still missing daddy, I agree it probably best not for him to visit but August will be here before you know it xxx

Glad to hear you are managing and bonding even more

I'm sure the time will fly by, keep Debo busy while you can with any basic training and some long walks, this will tire him out at least.

My Flo looks for me when I'm away too. She'll climb two flights of stairs just to see if I've sneaked in apparently.

When I get home she does the front paw Staffy dance with lots of kisses and then she'll ignore me    like she's telling me off for leaving her.

That only lasts a few hours though and everything is back to normal before we now it   

Training with Debo will definitely help you bond more, it's great opportunity. August seems a long way off but it will be here before you know it
