My gsd used to eat grass when she had an upset tummy but peppa eats it every day maybe she's crossed with a goat? Anyway she just enjoys it but don't fart so must be something else.

Re: sam doing a lot of loud farts
Dogs can't digest grass, so if Sam has eaten a lot it will ferment in his
stomach and give him wind, especially if he's an older boy and his
digestive system isn't quite so good.
If you think about it, most of us have had the lovely job of pulling grass
out of the other end of our dogs, which is proof that it hasn't been digested.
Guess you could say its a bit like us eating a load of brussel sprouts
Harry is eating grass at the moment but I try to stop him when I can
because it can cause bloat.

Re: sam doing a lot of loud farts
Lol!! To be honest, Biscuit has been very unladylike the last few weeks and she's been eating a lot more grass recently so can imagine it's that! I was lying in the grass sunbathing at the weekend though, and it smells SO sweet, so might be why it's so interesting to them!

Re: sam doing a lot of loud farts
Ai with the rain and heat the grass is shooting up and must smell amazingly sweet to them Ledger is definitely eating more than usual particularly in the morning but since feeding raw farts audible or otherwise have been virtually non existant
