Today I have to sort out...
A cat!!
In my complex many people are cat owners and pretty much all those cats are timid and stay close to home. But the last little while there has been a black cat around causing fights. My neighbour went away the other weekend and asked me to keep an eye out as it had badly hurt her cats.
Being on the complex committee I thought I'd send a letter out to try and find out who the owner is. Turns out about 10 residents have had issues with the cat coming into their homes and badly harming their cats. They've each spend thousands on vet bills. Bad kitty!!
I have a feeling it is feral as there is a big drain nearby the main stretch where it's causing problems. I called one of our organisations yesterday and they said they don't do capturing. They gave me contacts for other orgs. who I know are over run, but I think the feral org. does come out to capture and doesn't pts. So that's today's task.
Well, that and making sure all resident's have collars and tags on their cats during the process. It's horrible asking them to keep their kitties inside at night too, but we're going to have to while we're trying to get the naughty black cat!

Oh no!! Hope it all goes well. My friend took in a semi feral cat from the shelter and had similar problems in her village, he was mean!? They all really ganged up on her and he was PTS eventually, but this had been going on for years! Chasing cats throw cat flaps and all sorts the little monkey! X

I didn't realise how vicious cats could be! I've seen some of the photos of the cats that have been attacked - too terrible

My neighbour's two cats are so sweet and timid (poor ginger cat can't sit on it's own windowsill in the mornings without Mr Vin shouting at it!) but they've been choosing to stick near my wall and garden and hang out near Rox and Vin to avoid scraps. Poor things

Re: Today I have to sort out...
Update: I'm struggling to find anyone to come and capture the cat! I can't believe it. There's one who does capture, chip and release back to the same location but they don't seem to understand the cat is a terror
To top it off I have a few complaints about a Siamese across the road from me roaming into people's houses during the day and fighting with other cats. Not sure what to do about that one - difficult to ask owners to keep their cats indoors, surely?! I can send Roxy and Vinny out to work and man the houses?!
