Eukanuba staffordshire bull terrier food??
Mazda will eat ANYTHING but Zero seems to be really fussy He just wont eat any food ive tried JWB, pro plan etc even tried cheaper foods like wagg (he liked it but more came out than went in) a lot of people told me DrJohns so tried that nope, this week I got pets @ home own still nope, ive tried them all with tin meat too but still its 1/2mouthfuls and he walks away. Lucky Mazda eats anything bcos I keep buying 15kg sacks instead of trying 2kg bags first oh have also tried a few from vets that i got as testers.
I see this Eukanuba staffordshire bull terrier food but wondered if anyone else has tried it??
Or if anyone can recommend a complete food for a ultra fussy boy
He's not food crazy anyway as much to my sisters amusment he even spat bacon out
Like any typical vet mine says "he'l eat he wont starve himself" but he went 2 weeks and ate about 10mouthfuls

Wainwrights is great. It's cheap and good quality and my boy loved it, he can also be a little fussy but always clears his bowl if it's wainwrights. You can get it online or in pets at home. I'm surprised he didnt like Dr Johns, every dog I know loves that stuff!!

Yeah that or the salmon oil fish for dogs do, great for fussy eaters, aswell as really good for their skin and coat.
We use JWB fish and rice currently with a drizzle of salmon oil and charcoal sprinkled on top at the min. Then use salmon mouse for treat meals or tripe for treat meals just now and then sorta thing.

Re: Eukanuba staffordshire bull terrier food??
It really is such a relief to hear other people strugglin with fussy eater's and it's not just Inca... Well she used to be really really fussy... Whe she came to us she was fed on ... Dry cheapo greyhound food !!! (go figure that out)... There was no way she was staying on that c**p.. so i had heard Wainwrights was good for fussy dogs, so i 1st tried her on the dry chicken & rice (which she 'liked' for approx 5 days and then turned her nose up aat it after that.. .. Then i tried the moist Wainwrights food in Lamb & Rice and she really like it and carried on likin it for a good 2 mnths but then started to slowly go of it.. Then i tried Nature diet (moist trayed food) in Lamb and Inca polishes it all outta her bowl.. but she also likes the frozen raw mince that pets at home sell aswell.. I think it's called Prize Choice..
So even though Inca started out being a fussy little madam.. I know she will deffo eat .. Wainwrights moist food.. Nature diet moist food and Prize Choice frozen mince.. I chuck in a few pea's and carrot's for her aswell..
Hope my babblin has helped ... haha !!!

Have you tried mixing the biscuits with warm water before giving it to her? I dont mean leave it to make it soft but just put some warm water on top swish it about a bit and then serve straight away so the biscuits are still crunchy but the warm water has released the smell. I used to do this for any foster dogs that were fussy and they all ate it like that so may be worth a try? Good luck!

Is hes fussy and you are prepared to pay a decent amount try 'Orijen', great food which has very high quality ingredients meaning they need a much smaller amount than other foods to stay healthy. It is also really tasty for fussy dogs

Re: Eukanuba staffordshire bull terrier food??
I have already given some advise about the salmon mouse or salmon oil earlier in this thread.
But to be honest the best way to deal with fussy eaters is to stick with it and dont givin, they will eat what they are given if they are hungry enough. If the dog is otherwise fit and well, I would just take the food away and give NOTHING until her next meal; dogs do not starve themselves to death!
Molly used to be very fussy an we kept trying different food and trying to egg her on to eat it and they would work for a short while till she got bored and wanted something different.
The only real solution to fussy eating is put the food down for 10 mins if they dont eat it fine pick it up and dont let them have anything till next feeding time. Do the same again put it down for 10 mins if they dont eat it fine pick it up and wait till next feeding time. Dont give them snacks between meals unless they eat what they were given for there meal.
This can go on for quite some time as staffys are very stubbon as you all know, but unless they literally dont eat for a week dont give in. Obviously if your dog is seriously under weight already dont try this as 5-6 days without food if the dog is already very under weight is seriously not a good idea.

Ordered if he dont eat it u know whats for ur dinner for the next few weeks Lucky Mazda eats anything so nothing goes to waste round here.
Buuuut my mum brought some royal canine from work and nature diet with a little warm water added he ate his first full meal in weeks so im praying he will eat the salmon moose then i can stick to royal canine & moose.
I took dogs along to vets for wormers today and a good thing is hes not even slightly under weight (cant c how not lol) just over 15kg at 7mths im guessing the vet (being my mum lol) rights thats a good weight as Mazda's 17kg and a barrel at 10yrs
