Toots update

Well Toots is still limping, although not as bad.
I had to make the decision to have a friend look after Dottie as trying to separate them wasn't working.
Even with them in different rooms ,they would stress trying to get to each other.
Vet says Toots needs as much rest as possible. She thinks it's soft tissue damage, so hopefully with time will heal.
She's missing all her classes, her walks, her best friend Dottie.
All a bit distressing.   

Oh no, not good news   

With a bit of luck, the peace and quiet may well be what she needs to get on the mend.

Sounds like a good solution made there, although they will miss each other. Hopefully with the extra peace and quiet Toots will mend all the quicker.

I'm sure it was the right decision, she's much calmer without Dottie.
I bought a book about mind games for dogs by Claire Arrowsmith and a new toy.
Trying to keep her stimulated in ways other than running around!
The new toy is great. You put the treats under the slidey parts and she has to work out how to slide the things to get to the treat! Keeps her amused for ages!

Oh I looked at those, are they good then? They were quite expensive x

It was about £20 Sazzle, but very well made and robust. She hasn't managed to destroy it..yet!

I think they're the ones I looked at, oooo maybe a gotcha day present idea then. I was worried about paying the money and they Daisy not being bothered about it, so good to see someone using one successfully, thanks
