poor chester
chester has had a visit to the vets tonight as his poor tail has been bent under his hind quartres all afternoon but i stupidly thought it was because he gets dislocated knee joints in his hind legs and i thought id over walked him yesterday! but when my partner got in from work he gave chesters tail a tweek as usually its wagging like a helicopter propeller and chester nearly hit the roof! the vet said she didnt think it was broken but its defo swollen and has given him some painkillers called "previcox" as chester has a delicate tummy so hoping for a clean "diarrhea" free kitchen in morn! have no idea how he did this but im so proud of his behaviour at vets he didnt need to be muzzled and he was seen by a vet hes never even met before! going to see how he is over weekend and hoping his amazing waggy tail is doing just that again soon !

Re: poor chester
Aww Chester... Poor fella. Hope that tail is back in full wagging order soon.
They do amaze us sometimes, even when they feel unwell and you think they might play up, they are as good as gold

Re: poor chester
Its an inflammation at the base of the tail, Vin has had it sometimes occurs from getting very wet through rain or bathing, or can be stress related. Vins thanfully came back to normal within about a week but its awful to see them struggling to wag their tail. Hope he continues to improve xx
