Brutus is all better

I was meant to take Brutus back to the vet at thr pound yesterday to get his leg looked at, but after looking at it, decided I would save the trip. His leg has healed up well after being on the antibiotics for a week and he now has his neck cone and bandage off and is running around playing again. It is not a nice place out there so I didn't want to take him out there only to be told he was fine, which is all they would have said anyway.
I went and bought him a new collar yesterday and got it ingraved with his name and my number, so he is now part of the family. Kuta is so happy he is able to play with his again, they have not stopped since we took the cone off Brutus the other night. Playing tug of war is the favorite game, although they love to play fight and roll around restling.
Hopefully, we have seen the last of the dramas and we can relax and enjoy our new family member. He seems to have settled in really well and its like he has always been with us. The two of them were curled up on the sofa together last night and I put a blanket over them coz it was a quite cold. All you could see were two little heads sticking out, it was soooo cute. I took a photo so I will post it when I get a chance, and I promise to post some more pics soon too, really I do

So glad for your great news, I'd hoped a course of antibiotic therapy would make a big difference. I'm so looking forward to seeing some pics of Brutus and especially of the two of them playing together
