Post by Bruno311210 Tue May 31 2011, 17:35

My friend who's got the rotties has been round today, and while she was here, Bruno let a few big smells off and she said that if she was me, to change Brunos food to Purina Beta puppy food. Is anyone using this one and does it calm the smells down ? or should i just stick with JWB , personally i am used Bruno's farts Laughing and it doesnt really bother me, it is just when you have people round it is a bit embrassing. Will beta make him more hyperactive ?

Any advice welcome Big Grin

Not sure on the Purina Beta but I have just swapped from Royal Canin to JWB and it has certainly calmed her botty burbs down! She can still drop a few but not half as bad as she was lol!

Bruno's has his bad day and good days with his wind, today i guess is his bad, but after getting his no2 back normal, i am a bit nervous about changing it to be honest, i know you have to do gradually over a week. But saying i am not bothered that much about cleaning runny ones as you just get used it. Laughing

Dempsey only lets em go when he needs to go to the toilet - then he either goes in the garden, or if it's near his walk time we take him out.

When we first got him & he was on pedigree chum kibble (ugh!) his farts were room clearers!

Yeah stick with JWB and just buy some charcoal, you can buy stuff your sprinkle over their meals even our local pet shop sells it, can be used for cats, dogs, horses, or Wainwright's Charcoal dog treats are pretty good.
