Proud of Ledger

Just took Ledger for a walk around town and a lad of about 6 with his mum had been walking pretty much alongside us since we left home. He asked his mum if he would be allowed to stroke the dog and his mum asked me if it was ok so I said yes.

Ledger just stood calmly wagging his tail as the boy stroked him And I got talking with his mum saying she couldn't believe he had asked as within the last week or so the blue Staffy x a few doors from me that is never walked had been out in the alley at the back of the houses and had pushed her 3 yr old on the floor then attacked the 6yr old boy thankfully only ripping the shirt off him and she said he has been fearful of dogs that he had seen since until he saw Ledger.

Well done Ledger for being such a gentleman. Sorry for the blue staff though, poor dog. He/she would probably be a perfectly calm dog if looked after properly. Any dog can be hyper if not allowed to have fun and go for a run. Sad :-(
