Re: help with a staffie as soon as possible
Could she have eaten something different (and had an allergic reaction) or gotten into some sort of irritating/poisonous plant? If it doesn't go away in a day or so I'd take her to the vet for a check-up (sooner if they start to bother her).

possibly been at the plants she seems to love them !

Re: help with a staffie as soon as possible
I would guess plants as well.
Maybe she has been rolling in cut grass? The sap from the grass could be causing it.
Or maybe you have changed her food or she has eaten something she wasn't supposed to?
It might be an idea to give her a cool (ish) bath, or shower. Just to rinse off anything that might be causing it. Don't use any shampoo, just plain water and a gentle rub or brush.
See what she is like over the weekend. If it gets worse, then give the out of hours vet a call.
Oh, any chance of a couple of pics?
