Mince meat
Hi I was just wondering if it was ok to mix mince with wet food..Every morning I mix it with eggs or sardines..Is it safe to mix her food at night with mince or tripe? Thank you

Re: Mince meat
Hi and welcome to the forum, sorry I don't much about raw feeding but normally raw wouldn't be mixed with wet food as it has a different digestion time and could cause upset tummy
Please come and make an introduction, we would love to more about you both:

Re: Mince meat
I wouldn't mix it as can cause an upset tummy! One meal of each would be ok but I would just go full raw to be honest! Have a read of these

Re: Mince meat
Well I have tried her on mince meat and she just looked at me to say "what the hell is this" and walked away? How long does it take for them to come round to new food?

Re: Mince meat
Bane loved it from the get go, no turning back! Some dogs are just a bit fussier than others and may take time What mince have you tried? Fresh or frozen? Have you tried something like a chicken wing to see if she finds that a bit more interesting?

Re: Mince meat
I got a big frozen pack from pets at home along with tripe..She has been on wainwrights wet puppy food..But it's costing a lot to keep her belly full on it ha! I thought that going raw would be ideal for her and healthy..I tried her on pigs feet and she loved that! But will deffo try the chicken wing.

Re: Mince meat
Glad she's eating well just don't go too crazy on the assortment to start with as it can give her diarrhea i think you also have to be careful with salmon for dogs from certain oceans...maybe worth just checking online.

I think that's ok because it's cooked, I used to give Daisy that before we went raw! Bit random with the trotters tho!
