Amy - long term in Rescue Kennels - now settled
Hi there. This is my sisters dog who was a resident at Hilbrae in Telford. See the poster below.
Hilbrae looked after her wonderfully, but kennel life really stressed her out.
I have made the photo to show the difference in 5 months - a secure home with loving owners has changed this dog beyond recognition, she is so happy and an ambassador for the breed. She is the reason I have had a Staffy.
This is her now...

Shes amazing Kathy. Think she has had a nasty life but she is so trusting and loving - I dont think I would be so forgiving to humans in her position. She didnt know how to play, and is like a puppy again now so happy. Just wanted people to see the difference it can make to their lives. xxx

Re: Amy - long term in Rescue Kennels - now settled
Aww thank you all, she is such a gorgeous doggie, so full of love and a wonderful temperament. She isnt keen on other dogs - which we are working on, she had an hours playtime with my little puppy the other weekend and was really tollerant, so fingers crossed we will teach her other dogs can be fun. But my sis and her partner have really done her the world of good, she looks healthier, shes such a happy doggie, shes a bit insecure sometimes - but that comes with whatever life she had before. The kennel staff and volunteers really worried about her as she was so stressed in kennels, but they looked after her really well. The poster was actually made by one of the Kennel volunteers who really wanted to find her a home and she distributed the posters. I love her so much - she convinced me I needed a Staffy, my parents werent keen on dogs - my mom was actually frightened of dogs yet they adore her too! She loves my mom! So happy ending for Amy - shes so trusting, forgiving and loving and a wonderful example of the breed xxxxx
