My beautiful girl Daisy died 13/01/14

Our beautiful  girl became ill on Sunday 12th January. We took her straight to the vets who could not establish the problem. Injections for pain relief, Infection and vomiting to try and cover everything and an assortment of blood test which all came up negative. We brought her back home where she remained very lethargic and obviously ill. After a sleepless night we took her back to the vets where a scan revealed a tumour in her spleen which was bleeding. Our brave, brave girl then underwent surgery to remove her spleen. Unfortunately she had lost a lot of blood and started to deteriorate. When we arrived at the vets we found them trying to resuscitate her, she died in our arms and I am crying writing this. I miss her so much every day. She was only 7 years old and was our 2nd rescue staff.
