Re: breeding Archie
Please dont take my last post personal its just all pups look cute and all the love is there for them but when they grow up it all changes there not the dog they want, they get in the way, there distructive,no space for them the list goes on of excuses to get rid of there unwanted dogs its just unfair to bring pups into the world with an unsure fouture

Re: breeding Archie
Absolutley no way, never! There are so so many reasons why not to, no papers, no health checks (i pressume), he does not fit the breed standard at all so would not be helping to improve the breed i could go on and on lol. He is absolutley gorgeous but that is no reason to breed him in these hard times for our beloved staffs. I pressume he has a lovely nature and once bred alot of dogs and bitches temperments change drastically....for the worse. Also being the stud u will have no control on where the pups go and some will most probably end up in rescue. Im a dog walker for a local rescue and u would be amazed at the amount of pups eg) 6-15 weeks we get in most of them staffie/staffie cross :-(
If i was u i would enjoy him just the way he is and maybe consider getting him netured? At least u wouldnt have to worry about testicular cancer etc......

Re: breeding Archie
Personally I wouldn't. While he's a gorgeous boy & would probably give a lot of good points to his pups, there's no guarantee that the pups will find a home, let alone a good home.
Stafford crosses tend to be sought after by the wrong sort (I'm not aiming that at you or anyone on this forum!) and stafford cross pups are often bought for 'baiting' (ie training fighting dogs to fight ).
I have been approached 4 times by complete strangers asking if I'd mate my bully to their stafford bitch. One of them actually told me that stafford crosses make 'real good trainers'.
