Lucy spayed on Tuesday

After weighing the pro's and con's we decided that we would get Lucy spayed. ( keyhole surgery)
Took her to the vets on Tuesday at 8.15am and collected her at 2.30pm wearing a little operation T shirt to protect her wounds ( 2 tiny weeny little ones with a stitch in each)

We were told to expect her to sleep the rest of the day / night and the following day    NOT A CHANCE!
She slept on and off the day of the operation and through the night in our bed  "I was the one awake keeping an eye on her"
The next day she was running around the house like a rocket - I tried putting her in her crate in the hope of making her stay in one place "no way was she having any of that" the only way we could get her to settle was either my husband/son or grandson to lay with her while she went to sleep in her dogs bed in front of the fire. "hehe- it reminded me when our children were babies when we use to creep out of their bedroom on a night"

Aw look at those eyes!! I hope she has a speedy recovery How can anyone expect to keep a Staffy sitting in one place for longer than 30 seconds :p hehe love the baby grow thing!

Lucy was back to normal the day after her operation ...
running about the house.
eating well and even asking for more,
And lots of cuddles for me
