hungry all the time....or just greedy?

Thistle has turned into a bloody gannet, she is constantly on the look out for food, hoovering up the streets. She has always been food led, but never been greedy. I have wormed her, so I know it's not that. She is a healthy 23kg, she is a big staffy, but not fat she has a waist, she has the recommended amount of kibbles, jwb and the right food for her age, including a tin of sardines mixed in with it, she also has a stuffed cow hoof every other day while I'm at work, carrots as snacks, because she was getting a bit chunky, she's quite lazy but when I drag her out, at least 2 hours walk, on and off lead a day most days, give or take rarely miss, but she's bloody food obsessed, I never feed her from my plate, she never gets any scraps etc it's driving me nuts she seems to have a one track mind, any ideas anyone, it's not boredom either.......

just give her the right amount and that is it they do beg a lot just ignore it

Some dogs are just greedy!! Daisy isn't too bad but my sisters are obsessed!!

Your not alone... if I take mine through town they try and hoover up anything on site... they act like I only feed them once a month lil gits.

Its bad when its so dark in winter and you can't see what they're up to!!

Darcy loves food too but knows if we're eating at the table not to beg. Just be firm with her xx

Seems that all dogs are different, Rocky isn't greedy at all, when at the vets recently he was given some very small treats and took them one at a time out of the vets hand, she was very impressed with him.

Suki is food obsessed as well. Makes training a bit easier though

Pixee is not greedy either, and gentley takes any treats out of your hand. But she loves our food, but knows not to beg for any, as she always gets some once we have finished. Each dog is different.

Flo will tell you that we never feed her... even 5 mins after her dinner she will try and bag another if someone says "Has Flo been fed" !!

Begging depends on what is bieng cooked, if it's Ham you can see her dribbling  

Mika would eat all day long. Must just be greedy animals haha!
