e-collars Empty e-collars

OK..Caley has successfully found her way around the plastic e-collar...how I really do not know, she manages to get the bottom of her e-collar under her back leg and can just get her tongue to touch her leg...really not good as a part of the wound now looks a little red (nothing major - but will keep an eye).

So my question is has anyone tried using a towel as a substitute e-collar. I have seen you tube clips showing how to do it and have read reviews and all looks promising that it could work. What do you reckon?

Well, it seems to have worked..she slept better and so did I..lol

She was not impressed to start with, but once she realised she could lick her front paws and chew on her bones she seemed ok...she then stretched out in the crate and started snoring...she has not done that since the op.

All night we didn't hear a thing, no crashing against the crate...woke up this morning, towel still wrapped around her neck and leg not touched..4 days to go until the stitches can come out and hopefully she can have nothing around her neck...but that towel certainly works better..lol
