Emailed breeder

Banes is 5 months now and 16inches, just wondered if he would grow much taller, I just emailed the breeder to ask heights of his parents as he shouldn't be much taller but I know they grow up for the first year. He's pure as well as I wanted to know for sure what I was getting.

They go through all different shapes and sizes from birth until 24-36 months

I knew they grew oddly, when I first got banes he was a fat head in a stick, now he's got a tiny head on a barrel lol, thought I'd get up one day and find two legs longer than the other, lol. Just wondered if pedigree dogs grow much more than there ment to, his mum didn't look to big but he's only 5months

Obviously there's breed standard but even kc registered pups can be off breed standard xx

Lol he defo looks like them, breeder will let me know height tomorrow, I was just curious, I know they can be taller and they grow diffrantly just thought he would be a little shorter for 5 months.
I don't want him for showing anyway so it won't make much differance,

So hard to tell, Koda is 4 months old and changes all the time - seems to have big growth spurts and it's never his head, legs & body at once sometimes he looks quite odd lol

Breeder emailed back. Mum 16" and dad 17", so he shouldn't get much bigger. He's a great dog though, thanks for all the replys x

Bruce is only 13 inch at 5 months old.
So bruce is small compared.
But like people say they grow diffrent
So he might stop growing and just fill out.

It's been fascinating watching him grow, one days his ears were overtaking his head, next day they fitted lol looks like different parts of him grow over night and not evenly on both sides either lol

I think they grow in height quite quickly but then take longer to fill out. When I got Daisy in Sept 2012 she was estimated at 1/2 but she really filled out last spring/summer.
