Smile Nature Diet

Post by BlueStaffordBoss Sun Feb 09 2014, 12:29

Hello All  Big Grin

Since Boss had to have an operation a couple of years back due to him swallowing part of a rubber tyre toy he was diagnosed with colitis which is a form of IBS for dogs. We tried all types of different food but the best we found was Nature Diet which he absolutely loves and has had no problems with. He has this twice a day with a mixer in the morning and he cant get enough of it  Smile

Highly recommended for any dogs with a sensitive stomach  thumbs up

Glad to hear it! Zeus has also got Colitis and it's been really bad since we've had him. We moved him over to Nature's menu frozen mince + fruit/veg cubes and touchwood, he seems to be ok with it.. It's only been a few weeks so we'll see how it goes!

It is the best food I have ever come across for boss.
The vet used to try and get me to buy tinned food from the vet for sensitive stomach but I think that was around £3 per tin  Surprised Surprised

No idea.. all I know is that after trying almost 10 different dry foods in Zeus's lifetime.. as well as trying the tinned food that the vets recommended like you mentioned.. he still had the problem. There was something in the food which caused it and to be honest, I didn't want to wait around and start an 'exclusion diet' like the vet recommended as it was causing Zeus alot of discomfort so I started a raw diet (started off with Natures menu frozen mince) and he seems to be doing good on it..
