Crossbreeds - I wish people wouldn't worry so much
There are a lot of posts recently from people worrying about whether their dogs are full Staffys or not. Chloe is a lot taller and longer-nosed than Lola but we don't care - she's just Chloe to us! I'm a cross - in that I've got a bit of Irish and foreign blood (allegedly!!) I think most people are 'crossbreeds' these days

Lol, the only way to prove it is by having papers and even then I am skeptical! Moo is my fabulous rescue Hyena cross............

I think that most people, if they really love their dogs, don't care (unless they want to show, when they should have the papers anyway).
Unless they are worrying that their dogs might be targeted as being Pit-Bull type, which is an understandable fear.

My gripe is people saying their dog is a particular breed when it's a cross or something else entirely.
I was walking my staffy the other day, this older bloke walking his small dog moved into a persons yard to allow me to pass. I asked him, why did you move? He said his dog had been attacked by a staffy a month earlier. I asked him to describe what the staffy looked like, he said like a normal staffy. Did it look like my dog I asked, no he said totally different. How did you know the attack dog was a staff said I, he said because the owner whose house he run out of told me. I then explained that my dog was a staffy and that as the attack dog looked nothing like Angus (my dog) the attack dog was not in fact a staffy.
No bloody wonder the stafford has a bad reputation here in Australia and elsewhere.

Rocky is a crossbreed too and we wouldn't have him any other way. This morning I sat on the sofa and was shivering with cold when we just got back from our walk. Rocky goes to his crate and brings me his blankie again, bless him
