would you tell them your opinion or just let them get on with it and hope they end up ok?

If it was a good friend I think you would have to say something.

Depends what it is, sometimes you might be able to tell then something that they haven't seen for themselves but I think it all hinges on how you approach the subject

Yes I agree it depends on what it is, some mistakes you just have to make to learn!

I'm pretty hard and think sometimes people need to learn for themselves - but it really does depend on the situation

I would probably ask myself "Would they do the same for me" ??

  Definitely depends on the situation and the friend if I thought I could see something they couldn't then perhaps but some mistakes have to be made to learn the lesson xx
