Would you say its a full breed ?
Is my staff a FULL BREED (PICTURES INSIDE)
What would you say is this dog a full breed the dog was born last may at some point so not 100% sure on the dogs age we have been told it's a full breed i just want to get other people thoughts on this
Thanks
When my mum took the dog to the vet he said she was full breed but people are saying she is not i am confused on what to think , in the picture i put she was 4 months old the operation pictures are the most up to date she is 8 months
when she is older will she look more like a staff ? or is it just because she is still young
This was her at 16 weeks
Thanks

Can barely see him!! Pictures are way too dark. But either way there is no such thing as a "long legged staffie"

I never meant to put long legged staff as the title . i can see the pictures i know there a little dark but i can see them fine
i was just asking or opinions on what you think it does seem the have long legs its a girl also .
to us its meant to be a full staff would you say the dogs legs are normal size in one of the picture you can see the legs clearly

Hi why not come and introduce yourself here
https://staffy-bull-terrier.niceboard.com/f7-new-member-introductions
A bit hard to tell, but all I can say is that her face seems slightly narrow like my Alfie (rescue dog), who we suspect is a cross. Im no expert though. Others wil be along soon

You cant find out sorry without papers
Re: Is my staff a FULL BREED (PICTURES INSIDE)
That's a better picture as flowerbud and Steve have said her face is a little long for standard. First thought that came to my mind was perhaps a whippet cross.. Maybe even a terrier! It's so hard to guess.. Did you see the parents?

Re: Is my staff a FULL BREED (PICTURES INSIDE)
She looks like a cross to me, please take a look at the link below which shows a standard Staffordshire Bull Terrier, you can then compare the two:

Re: Is my staff a FULL BREED (PICTURES INSIDE)
Her muzzle shape looks just like Banes! We were told he was an American/English cross but I'm not so sure! We have been told he looks crossed with English bull terrier/whippet/greyhound/lurcher loads of things! She doesn't look pure to me but very cute either way!

Some humans have longer faces than others so I guess the same goes for Staffys I think she looks beautiful - quite refined - with some cracking ears

Re: Is my staff a FULL BREED (PICTURES INSIDE)
you carnt really tell when staff's are pups but for her ears to be that big for a pup and her face to be a narrow i can honestly say i do not think shes a full breed, i have a full staff and hes quite leggy which made me ask questions :/ but hes kc registered both mum and dad i have bought a 5 generation certificate now, but she looks a happy little girl love her lots they like lots of cuddles xx

Re: Is my staff a FULL BREED (PICTURES INSIDE)
Hi, first of all she's beautiful and full marks for having her speyed. I think some of the other posters are right in saying she could have whippet in her as she has a long nose and legs and has a racy body. I rescued a Staff and I'm convinced she has whippet in her breeding somewhere, but who cares I love her and I gave a pound dog a home.
I wouldn't worry too much she's sweet whatever she is!!

Re: Is my staff a FULL BREED (PICTURES INSIDE)
Personally i would say it was a cross, like most of the above comments her muzzle looks a bit slimmer than usual, however you can never find out the true bloodline without papers. The best you can do is look at the parents to get an idea of how she will look once she's grown.
