im not sure if my bitch staff is full staff please help???

hi, ive recently just bought a girl staff and her legs are pretty long and she looks skinny here face is pure staffy but just not sure i hear there are long legged staffs but there still pretty built ?

How old is she??

5 months she looks taller standing up

She looks like a Stafford to me. They come in all shapes and sizes so don't worry. They are especially tall and "leggy" when they are young. There is no separate breed or anything as "long legged staff", but a lot of people describe some taller Staffords this way.

She's a very good looking dog anyway.

Long legged is just another name for a staffy cross.

Right if her parents don't have papers or her then you will never know.. At 5 months they won't have filled out and they will be lean and lanky.. She will change dramatically during the next 5 months..

Moll was rather lanky for a while but she's filling out more now she's nearly 10 months. Yours is a beautiful dog regardless!

Yeah that's typical 5month old build tbh

Logan was like that at her age and now he's a big lump. In 6 months time you'll look back at those photos and think "is that my dog???" Lol

Without papers you will never know so no point asking really. Just call her a staff or a staff cross not "long legged staff" or any other variation - there's only one type of staffy.

im not sure if i understand the "long leg staff" everyone on site references. all i have ever seen here are "kegs with legs". could someone throw up an image of one of the long leggers??

Tyke is long legged we bought him as a staffy but he deff a X doesnt change who he is i will get a pic up soon

She's gorgeous and she might be a cross, might not be, but you'll never know for sure unless she's KC registered. But long-legged is just a characteristic, not another type of breed. They're all Staffs

She looks very much a 'teenager' stafford! All legs and ears! She has a lot of filling out to do, and as she does fill out she'll look less 'leggy'.

She's beautiful, anyway!

hi all i can say that my Bruno when he was at her age he was looking like cross but later it changed . He is much taller than the other staffies . We got papers but we didnt buy him from famous breeders. I didnt know much about breeding that time now i can say that a have much more knowledge. We go to dog shows and he is definitely tall not stocky short leg but still some of the breeders love him and they always trying to get in touch with us So all i can say wait a few months longer and you will see how she will look like . its really hard to say right now did you try to measure her hight?

Did she come from a back street breeder like me Bruno? I ask because they look similar, how much did you pay for her? Bruno was on the net for £150 but I got him free.
