Bleeding gums while teething
Is it normal for puppy's gums to bleed when they're teething? We've noticed a couple of times in the last week that the toys Alfie's chewing on are getting blood on. We've also just noticed that his big pointy canines have fallen out though so I guess if his big ones are making their way through that could be what's causing it! Xx

A little bit of bleeding can be normal. Try giving him icy things to numb them such as a wet face cloth that's been put in the freezer to chew on or a frozen kong, frozen fruit pieces etc

Thank you we've been giving him frozen bits of wet towel to chew on - he loves it! And ice cubes too! Whenever we go in the freezer now he thinks he's getting something lol xx

Carrots are on the shopping list for tomorrow! yes he definitely gets the fishy breath!! I actually just thought it was "morning breath" because it's always worse when he's been asleep! Good to know its teething related and won't last forever lol xx

Re: Bleeding gums while teething
This may explain why Mika left a bit of blood on her teddy, I did wonder! Will also try the frozen carrot, great tip thanks! Had to throw her stag bar in the bin as it appeared to be cutting her gums too
