Moats Diary

hi all
its been awhile since i was last on. Moats is now on tablets for his fits he is on two different types but he is not doing too well on them. hhas just had a fit this morning which brings it to two this month. now he is going around in circles and cant settle he bangs into everything it is getting harder to watch him go through this.

Is Moats having any treatment for this ?

Has moats been diagnosed with anything specific? Ruby too bangs into everything, we just try to keep everything pushed to side of room and put things in front of tv cabinet. Ruby has just had a fit tonight too

just said that he has epileptic and he would need to take tablets for the rest of his life. not nice seeing him go through it but other than that he is healthy and happy when he bainto everything he is just coming out of the fit

sorry jane for got to ask how ruby is today?  

she's pacing up and down at the moment. just let her get on with it as she won't lay down till she's ready. I don't want to take up your diary post on Moats so if you want to you can read her story on the health issue of L2HGA.

moats has had a few good days but today he had another fit this time he gave us some warning that it was going to happen. he wouldn't settle so was keeping an eye on him. then it was the same just walking about going to see the vet again the tablets don't seem to work will post when i know more.

Ruby is on epiphen and we added potassium bromide as they are kinder to the liver. Big hugs to you and moats.
Can I ask if moats was fully health checked when you got him and how old he is.

moats is on the epiphen and pexion and no he didnt have a good health check because i got him from my sister. his mum and dad was both fine
now i have to worry about red setter i have he is not too good at the momment will have to have both of them at the vets tomorrow.

well its another day and another fit. he is now going round in circles and bashing into the doors and stuff. be awhbefore he can settle. we had him to the vets going to up his tablets because his blood test is ok and he has room up them. so its another visit to the vets why they didn't tell me how many to give him then is beond me.

well that's another one today so i took him to the vets he now has to take three epiphen a day plus the one pexion so hope this sorts it out.

well its been a few days since moats has had a fit fingers crossed it stays that way. he has a bit more life to him he is running around with his ball and ripping it to bits gota love him
