Food?
Trying to reintroduce our Milly's dry food, (Gilpa Heritage) after pasta and chicken for the past few days as she had the runs which then disappeared for 3 days on this. She's had none of the cheese flavoured treats we'd been giving her but this morning she's had two firm poo's and a real runny one again! She has however been scrounging in the garden under the bird fat balls so think its this now! She's very well and bright in herself still but can anyone suggest a food that has worked for their fussy little staffies? Thanks

Re: Food?
I'd probably offer chicken and rice instead of chicken and pasta hun.. soo much wheat in pasta that some dogs can be very sensitive to. Try and curb the munchies in the garden and no treats so that you know exactly what it is that's causing the upset tummy. I don't feed dry food, but there are others on here that do that could possibly suggest something

Re: Food?
If Millie has been near the bird feeders she may have picked up some bird poo which could be the cause of the runs. Try some scrambled egg for a couple of days and see how she goes, then introduce her normal food again. If it continues though she should see the vet.
Rocky has Barking Heads food which he loves, they do a grain free version too.

Re: Food?
Thanks Rachel and Kathy, I just called the food suppliers who put me onto their nutritionist. They were very helpful and understanding and are sending a 4kg free sample of their other food which is less in protein and half the price to try her on!! My hubby and I have just been out into the garden raking up seeds and birds poo and food. We also found rank stagnant water that we believe she's been drinking out of at the end of our garden so eliminating as much as possible!! Fingers crossed. xx
