I'm okay lovey, just in sooo much pain! Was diagnosed by surgery in November but just didn't know if anyone had any suggestions for pain relief really! Seems a lot more common than I thought, I'd never even heard of it until last year xx

It's much better since the surgery but it was agony for most of last year.. Think I might have to drag myself to the shop, I've only got tramadol here but it knocks me out lol! Tried heat pads and paracetomal but I've spent most of the evening curled up in a ball so doesn't seem to be working lol! Biscuits currently lying on my tummy too as a rather lumpy hot water bottle. Thanks for the ideas lovelies xxx

You need to go back to gp, if current pain relief ain't working as there are other long term pain relief/ blockers that you could use. You could try codeine but again it might knock you out

Do you have any suggestions at all hun? My drs useless, I generally diagnose myself and ask for the meds. Told me that the pain from my burst ovarian cyst was "stress" and tried to put me on anti depressants..!! X

Have a look on here
http://www.endometriosis-uk.org
Naproxen WITH co-codamol should help a little or if not ask gp about hormone therapy.
Is you gp a male? If so ask for a female gp as they can be more sympathetic regarding pain relief.
Good luck x

Thanks for that link Rhia, I hadn't heard of it but worth having a read up.

Rachel - Are you able to see another GP at your practice or maybe register with another one completely ? I know I am very lucky with my GP, she is great and whatever you need she will get for you. Hope you can get something sorted hun  Ladies only!! 3198918699 Ladies only!! 3198918699 Ladies only!! 3198918699

You're both stars thank you! Ended up with the co codamol, knocked myself out for about 15 hours!! So exhausted with the pain it's silly. Feel much better today Smile I did ask for a female GP but they just gave me a male anyway!! I'm new to the surgery so still figuring out who's good and who's not.. My last female gp was so helpful Sad

They literally go in with a probe and kill your womb lining best thing I ever did
