Surprised The snake

Post by nicolene Iveson Fri Jan 24 2014, 06:34

Found a dead snake behind my couch. Think poor thing found his way into the house and Tip killed it or the dogs outside killed it and she carried it inside. Not sure which of it is. Hubby think the first and made a fuss of Tip.

Surprised Re: The snake

Post by nicolene Iveson Fri Jan 24 2014, 08:01

We had a mole snake take up residence in my study three winters ago. Timothy took care of that one. We have snakes in the yard sometimes but its the first time in a while we had one in the house. Tip goes mad if robert let's her into the feed room (we think there are rats in there) so we seem to have a vermin catcher. I think Tip was cross that I took and threw the snake away. I can't let her eat it.

The snakes the dogs killed in the house were luckily not poisonous.last year though the older dogs cornered a cobra. We called them off and it escaped into the field behind the house.
Wish we could ask them rent Kathy.

We only kill the snakes that enter the yard and house if we see them. They control the rat population.
