When my son was five he contracted Guilliane Barre Syndrome. In the stretch of two days he went from a healthy five year old to being paralysed from his neck down. On that sunday night he stopped breathing and ended up in ICU. He was there for six weeks.

Nathaniel is one stubborn little boy and he relearned to eat, walk and only has drop feet left from that time. Nathaniel is also dislexic and a bit imature for his age.

He is twelve and I apploud at how hard he works to overcome his difficulties. SA is not really geared for children with special needs like my son but we make do with what we have.
Today I helped him with his reading and spelling and it struck me how amazing he is. He is a genius with mathematics.

People with special needs are heroes.

He certainly does sound like a very special little boy,

I'm just a normal mommy trying her best. All moms would do what I do. We will always protect and fight for our kids.
