Holiday depression ? Empty Holiday depression ?

Im the only one in the house at the min because everybody else is on holiday they've been gone since sunday and the dogs have been fine apart from today sheen has had his sad face on all day he hasn't got excited when i shouted "dinner" "out" or "treat" and that really isnt normal ! he wont come over when i shout him even with a treat and is just sat with his sad eyes on being quite even when ivy trys to play with him  Straight Face could he be upset because my mums not here who he adores or could there be something up with him ?

Hmm.. I would keep an eye just in case as he does sound a bit flat.. but seems to be a bit of delayed reaction, bless him! Has he actually eaten today? Change in routine can upset dogs, but if it's been this way for 5 days it seems a bit odd!

found what it is now it looks like a spot on his stomach but its about an inch wide an full of puss :\ my brothers going to come over tomorrow to take him to the vets

Awww poor Jack, I know this sounds discusting but could you relieve the spot and wash with warm water to clean it of infected matter ?

Are you sure it isn't an infected nibble, if so then leave it until you see the vet.

its a thorn in him thats got spot like puss around it he wont let me near it and i dont really want to do anything just gona take him to the vets first thing tomorrow

not been yet the only appointment they had free was 3:20 but the spot popped last night in his sleep ive cleaned it up and he seems alot more himself today so thats a good sign will let youno how get on later  Big Grin

he wont let me touch the area so just going to leave it for the vet to sort he seems fine now anyway but he was an infection now so that will need looking at

he had an absess or how ever you spell it .. hes on antibiotics for 5 days then back in for a check up she also said his fur was thin and wants to check if he has a mite problem to be on the safe side i have noticed hes been scratching abit recently i just thought he was due his advocate flea stuff but he had it not long ago they said so will have to see
