Oops, wheres my dog
Pixee wears this with her normal collar when we go walking in the dark as well as a blue and red blinking light on her collar. http://www.petsathome.com/shop/high-visibility-yellow-large-dog-collar-101805
Last night we went to some fields we have never walked in the dark before, only daylight, as it was just too dark to walk through the fields to the other end, we did a circule walk in one part of the fields, Pixee got excited as we only walk right across, so she was running crazy everywhere, so thank god for the visibility collar and blinking light. Except, when we got to the top part of the fields, I just about saw two little furry things come running at Pixee, little Jack Russells, I thought oh No, hope they friendly, they were, but I couldnt see any owner, and there was no collars on either dogs, so I guessed they must have come from the farm. I put Pixee back on lead as I didnt want her playing with them in case they went running off into the dark, with her following, Pixee wanted to play and a pull of her head, she was gone, I was left with the high visibility collar attached to the lead , stupid me had put the lead on the wrong collar, and no doggy . Lucky for me, Pixee always comes back on my red whistle, and I saw a red and blue blinking light come out of no where nearly bowling me over in the process . One happy mummy and one happy Staffie returned home. Lesson learned, make sure I put the lead back on the correct collar
