Dog Classes
Me and Chico went to our first dog class last night! We both loved it Chico was rescued from Glasgow by a friend, so I don't what happened to him in his first 2 years of his life but he is nervous around strangers and barks at strange dogs. So I'm trying to get him socialised, and the first class went really well! Chico was muzzled so it was less stressful but we did the weave polls which he was pretty good at, so we're going to practice different things so we can show of next Thursday

Does anyone else take or have taken their dog to classes? Chico just loves doing agility! :-)

Re: Dog Classes
Well done guys
I went to basic obedience classes last year when I rescued Daisy and we both really enjoyed it. I have a little agility set for home but we've not been to any classes.

Re: Dog Classes
I was really nervous at first but once we got into it, it was great fun :-) so now we have our own mini agility set in the garden so we can work at it through the week. There's even talk of doing shows eventually which will be great publicity for Staffies :-D

Re: Dog Classes
I'm trying to find some near me as I don't have a car, I live in Bristol (uk) if anybody knows of some. I'd love to do agility as banes is a wriggler and could compete in the kangaroo Olympics with how he jumps lol

Where you live do they let dogs ok buses? Even making your own little agility bit in your garden? I found it a bit embarrassing to start with but you soon forget about it lol

Re: Dog Classes
Welcome to the agility world Ledger started around a year ago and we now attend a weekly class and have been to a couple of the local shows, we are kennel club registered but I don't think that we are ready for that quite yet
We also go to flyball classes on a Sunday which Ledger loves even more than agility or rather it's less for me to get wrong lol
People are always surprised to see a staffy which is crazy when they realise how fast he is
