Dodger, Staffie, DOB 07.11 – Hertford, Hertfordshire
Homing Requirements: Dodger needs to be an integral member of his family and to live with at least one other dog; He also needs to be encouraged to find his own company which will gradually come but he was born & grew up with his twin. He would like to sleep in the bedroom and needs planned support with leaving him initially until he feels secure. Dodger is proven with young children, dogs all sizes, cats and rabbits. At most a very part-time working home as he couldn't go straight into being left unless part of a pack.

His Story: Dodger grew up with very young children and his twin brother. The family had to move and couldn't take their dogs with them. They rehomed Duke his litter brother and whilst we were scheduled to take both we were informed just Dodger was coming. Dodger didn't cope alone in kennels so was fostered within days and homed shortly after. He was homed in with an elderly Staffie, but he died and Dodger became nervous as an only dog, so came back to us into foster with 4 others until his forever family finds him. Dodger is neutered, chipped and vax'd. Currently in foster in Hertford, Hertfordshire.
Advert: Dodger is a special soul. He has to be friends with everyone and everything. People adore him, children adore him and most dogs adore him. He has a special vibe and can happily live with dog-friendly cats. He even play bowed in front of one! He has also lived alongside hutched small furries. Dodger is currently fostered with 4 other dogs and has slipped into the pack as though he has always been a part of them. Dodger travels well, would like to enjoy the sofa, is easy to walk and has good recall off lead.
Dodger is a 2 year old Brindle Staffie with white accessories who is an ambassador for his breed. He is a medium to large Staffie and behind his gentleness is a lad who is a little nervous, so kennelling isn't possible for him as he withdraws and becomes shaky. He needs company in his home and wants to be with you rather than separated. Dodger had a twin and naturally had a companion at his shoulder. He loves children especially. What a special boy Dodger truly is.
