Mabel, Boxer x Staffie, DOB 14.02.11 - Hertford
Homing Requirements: Mabel needs a confident home who will love Mabel. She pulls on the lead so needs further lead training. She has good recall off lead. She would relax as an only pet and soak up all the love going. Secure garden with exit management as ever. Mabel could live with a dog and has lived with a cat.
Video: Mabel enjoying being with doggie friends - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FUNzVyc691s&feature=youtu.be
Her Story: Mabel was rescued at 5 months old and was in with an older male Staffie and a cat. Her owners had problems during her season and tried to rehome Mabel. There was a fight post season which is predictable, neither needed vet care but Mabel lost her home over it. Last in first out! Mabel was spayed, vax'd and chipped. Mabel is based in boarding kennels hoping for a family to love. Enjoying a 2 weeks training/foster place (early June).
Advert: Mabel is stunning; smaller than a Boxer bitch, chunky like a Staffie. She is keen on the lead so needs an experienced handler - she is an ideal jogging companion! She meets other dogs well and respectfully, but pulls towards them initially, again a training issue. An affectionate little lady.
Mabel is 18" to the shoulder. Red coated boxer colouring, with a black tinge at the ends of her fur, bold white ruff and knee length socks. Her face: What an amazing look, with such soulful eyes. Mabel needs a family to give her love. Mabel needs nurturing and to belong again.
