Benji, Staffie, DOB 12.12 – Godstone, Surrey
Homing Requirements: Benji needs a stable family who rejoice in his gifts and support him while he build his skills further. Benji is good meeting dogs but is vocal and can complain if challenged by another, needs to build his confidence further before living with another. Benji is housetrained and used to weekend fosters so assessed in a home environment and deeply loved. Benji can be left for short periods. Unassessed with cats or small furries.
His Story: Benji was found stray, newly neutered with his stitches still in which was a mystery as he was unclaimed. Benji has been chipped and vaccinated. Benji has been befriended and enjoyed regular short spells out of kennels when possible so has proved himself in many areas of home life. Kennelled near Godstone, Surrey and short term fostered in Brentford, Middlesex.
Advert: Benji is such a friendly loving dog. Benji came into our care and captured all hearts. Benji has enjoyed regular spells in short term foster, where he is proven to be good when left for short periods, travels well secured in a car, is housetrained, non destructive, affectionate and settles outside the bedroom of a night. Walking Benji on an extender is a joy and he delights in meeting other dogs even within a high dog density. If challenged he will bark back but is easily distracted and moves on back into his walk. He would benefit from a training class to perfect his malleable nature and develop his self-confidence as he comes into adulthood.
Benji is around one year old, an orange brindle Staffie with longer legs but with a huge Staffie heart delighting in cuddles and to rest his gorgeous head on your lap. Benji is a stunner and attracts so much admiration and could live with young children though unsure with very young children unless his owner has recent bull breed ownership experience. Kind, caring and devoted.
Please note that this dog is currently in boarding kennels and is also available for foster until a 'forever' home is found.
