Re: Crate training
Associate it with something good like dinner, don't just throw her in then shut it. Let her get used to it over a few days and put her bed in it and make sure shes happy in it befor eyou close the door

Re: Crate training
Go for the largest you can afford and that can fit in your home. The bigger the better. But why does she need it?

Re: Crate training
I just ordered one for dog I will be getting soon. Just so can make him feel safe and like his own den as he's rescue dog. He's lab cross staff and I ordered extra large.

Yes, I was wondering that.
I use one, but I had it right from when he was 8 weeks old. Is she misbehaving?

Re: Crate training
The reason i want to try get her into 1 is because i have always been against it untill i was at my aunts house and she does it with her dogs. And although she has toys i have this fear of comming home and my lino floor being ripped up.

Re: Crate training
If you feel you need to, no harm in trying, just leave the door open so she can wonder in and out...
