Crate Training
Hi there,
Just a little question about crate training. We collected our little girl Roxy yesterday, and she slept right through the night, which was pretty amazing. She has been up all morning playing since 630, so I put her in her crate just now, and she cried and cried, however after 20 minutes she did fall asleep. When she starts crying like that, should I just ignore her, or talk to her from wherever I am.. usually upstairs or in the kitchen. I just worry when I have to leave the house, and she has to be on her own .. my neighbours may not be too happy..

Re: Crate Training
Try not to react to it as once you respond she will keep doing it, very important these early stages for her to know how to be on her own without becoming anxious, and if she did eventually go to sleep it will defo improve with the crying going on for less time

Re: Crate Training
So glad she has settled in Just make it a fun place where she gets treats and toys and she will learn to love it!
